DATA RECOVERY SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Drives NOT detected by the BIOS when "connected internally", "clicking on power up", won't spin, smoking, dropped, toppled or fell before the failure are more serious failures and are not $199 Data Recoveries (please refer to pricing on home page). Our minimum for data recovery is $199 therefore $199 data recoveries are considered "Pre Approved". If a customer would like us to proceed with recovery after contacted with the evaluation results, we require that payment to be made within 3 Days after contacted either via Email or by Phone unless special arrangements are made. Although every data recovery is expedited through the entire process there are some time related aspects beyond human control such as sourcing parts where production codes need to be matched through special vendors and time required to image some drives. "Approved" data recoveries "cannot be cancelled" for any reason once work has started. Any drive left for more than 10 days after the customer has been contacted without payment or response may be considered abandoned and possibly even disposed of. We do not have large facilities to store drives for unnecessary lengths of time. Free Return Shipping DOES NOT Include HI, AK or Guam, whole Laptop / Notebook "Computers", if provided the WRONG drive, never had the desired data on it in the first place or any drive that we deem anyone else has caused excessive damage to, which includes drives with contamination, physical signs of damage such as bent drives, dented drives, head or arm smacks, opened "Internal" Hard Drives resulting and/or contributing to "non recoverability" of the data to no fault of our own. All recoveries returned via FedEx at our cost either Ground or 3 Day Air at our discretion depending on cost, location and time for delivery. Customers can upgrade shipping with either a Prepaid FedEx Label or Additional Payment to Upgrade Shipping. An image of recovered data is kept for ONLY 3 Days after the date of delivery of recovered data where it is the customer's responsibility to immediately check and backup their data. Returned Data and/or Drives to homes are shipped "Signature Required" to ensure data is received where someone will need to be home to receive the data. If no one is home during the day please use a work address otherwise FedEx will leave a delivery notice reattempting delivery or pickup at the nearest FedEx facility. We ONLY ship FedEx with exception of APO. After data recovery service has been performed "failed unusable drives" may be retained for future parts unless clearly under warranty where it is the customer's responsibility to request their failed drive to be returned if they absolutely need it. If a customer chooses "not" to proceed with a recovery or in rare situations where data is not recoverable, if the customer would still like their drive back it is the customer's responsibility to specifically request this. For customers that include "good" drives for data we will "always" automatically send these drives back being "good" drives were also included. We cannot be held responsible for "future" data recovery of any drive or disc provided and recovered data transferred to. Please immediately backup recovered data to another drive such as an Internal Drive, another DVD and/or External Drive. Although we do everything possible to ensure the safety of every drive we receive and although highly unlikely, just like any data recovery company we cannot be held responsible for anything beyond our control such as natural disasters. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time as deemed necessary and these are the Terms and Conditions are agreed upon by shipping your hard drive in.
